Alexander P. Yablonsky was born in Leningrad (Now St. Petersburg, Russia). Mr. Yablonsky graduated with a Masters degree from the Leningrad Conservatory as a pianist under the guidance of professor Samary Savshinsky. He completed his post-graduate studies at the Leningrad Conservatoire’s department of Theory and History of Performing Arts under professor Lev Barenboim.
Mr. Yablonsky worked as a piano teacher at the specialized music school of the Leningrad Conservatory. He has taught piano classes in the U.S. and Europe, including master-classes in Barcelona, Spain, Cologne, Germany, Riga, Latvia, and at the Longy School of Music.
After emigrating to the U.S. in 1996, Mr. Yablonsky or Sasha as he is known to his students worldwide, has taught or played piano professionally at the following Boston area schools and organization: 
Solomon Shechter School, 1996 – 2008
Boston College, 1996 – 2005
Boston Ballet, 1996 – present
Sasha is the founder and president of Piano 2 Forte and the Art of Music Agency. He lives with his wife in Sharon, MA and has two daughters and five grandchildren.
